However, it would have been nice if there were clear guidelines during the fire alarm I experienced. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a cozy stay!

The room situation can be tricky—if you're traveling with three adults, prepare for a sofa bed arrangement that might not be ideal. On top of that, the bathroom design isn't great. I found that water tends to splash everywhere during showers, leading to a bit of a mess. Also, there were definitely some quirks with the room locks. I struggled at one point to open my door, which was rather concerning. Each visit had unique challenges that affected the overall experience, especially in a hotel of this caliber.

I had a great stay with fantastic views from my room and just a 15-minute walk to the vibrant Solsiden area, perfect for enjoying the waterfront and nightlife. it was wonderful to be so close to historic sites like the Emigrant Monument, making it easy to explore on foot and discover new things every day.

We loved the fantastic location next to Pirbadet, where the kids enjoyed swimming and splashing around. The free entry to the 3T Fitness Centre nearby was also a nice perk for us. The breakfast spread was delicious, catering perfectly to our family's tastes.

For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities within the hotel during downtime.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic breakfast with a barista making coffee right there, and the rooftop bar was a gem! The view of the fjord from my room was totally mesmerizing, I could just sit and stare after a long day.

The stay in a Superior Double or Twin Room was highlighted by an exceptional view and an incredibly attentive staff, especially Dimitri, who added a personal touch by celebrating my wife's birthday with dessert candles. The hotel's breakfast offered a generous selection and was enjoyable. However, noise from the rooftop bar above made it challenging to sleep, and the diesel smell from nearby cruise ships was intense due to poor ventilation.
